Many of you have asked me about my many trips to CaboMX - how do I like it and what do I think of the investment opportunities there, and although I have addressed it in my BLOG - and will continue to “tout” the area in upcoming entries as I intend to spend increasingly more and more time there – so be sure to watch my BLOG on our website at www.RealEstateClubLA.com for continuing developments along with my ARTICLES and UPDATES on the area, but enough of you were interested in additional information that I felt I should put together a more comprehensive synopsis of the area and the investment opportunities I was able to identify there, so here goes:

The entire area is beautiful – and very “Americanized” in that about 40% of the population (not counting Tourists…) is made up entirely of Americans and Canadians (“Gringos”) and a scattering of Europeans with just about everybody there speaking English, and the shopping is no different there than just about anywhere in the US: Costco, Wal*Mart / Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Office Depot, Sears, etc. etc. etc. are all there. The beaches are beautiful. The restaurants are great with just about any type of food you could possibly want represented there. Overall prices throughout the area range from cheap/cheap/cheap to just about as high as you can possibly imagine. The deep sea fishing is legendary with million dollar prize tournaments a regular thing during the fall months – and there are a ton of golf courses with many more on the horizon (did I mention that I love to play golf?)

And it’s been named the #1 RETIREMENT DESTINATION
IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
for Americans…

Those of you who know me know I never recommend something that I have not seen for myself (me, of little trust…), and have not been ready to step up to the plate and put my money where my mouth is...

Well, this is the first time I was ready to move forward on something “outside my comfort zone” and not in my home state – a “Quantum Leap” for me - that’s how convinced I am of the investment value of the Cerritos Beach Lots project. I walked on the beach myself, saw the trucks moving sand and saw the road being widened – and now I’m watching the first oceanfront condo project “going vertical” (see UPDATES below…).

This is not some futuristic dream – it’s really happening and I can’t wait to get back down there and check out the progress for myself…

 THE ‘CERRITOS BEACH CLUB’ IS GOING STRONG

You can hardly find a parking space at the Beach Club on any given weekend, the food is great, the booze is flowing and live entertainment is provided every weekend as things heat up and the immediate area population increases with all the building/development already begun (or immediately pending - read on…).

The Equestrian Center is open for horseback riding, there are plenty of ATV rentals available, there's a surf shop right there on the beach and buses run from many of the major hotels in CaboMX out to the Beach Club on a daily basis – Cerritos Beach, the only swimmable beach on the entire Pacific Coast…

…is already advertising their hotel, fractional and whole-ownership opportunities in the airline magazines, generating a greater awareness of the area and with construction expected to begin this summer. And Roger Pollack - the largest builder in the State of Oregon - and one of the Partners on the Cerritos Beach Resort project is building a huge home on the point overlooking the project itself and construction is well underway and moving fast.
